and role model who can guide their students through their schooling. To find out more about The Cartim Group,

About the Job Opportunity
We are looking to hire charismatic, energetic graduates of Ivy League and other top colleges, who have a passion for
teaching and working with younger people. We want our tutors to serve as academic role models, not just to assist
with schoolwork but also to get to know the students, be a positive influence in their lives, teach them what it means
to be a good student, and ultimately help bring their grades up.
We welcome applicants who can to teach a wide range of academic subjects, as well as those who specialize in a
single, high-level subject like an AP math, science, or language. We also welcome those with knowledge of learning disabilities.
Our pay rates start at $30/hr, but can increase over time, based on experience, longevity with our company, and parent feedback.
A typical commitment to a student ranges from 2 to 4 hours per week. We're primarily looking for tutors who will be able to
take on multiple students and commit to a total of 6 or more hours per week. Tutors determine their own schedules, and tutoring
takes place in the student's home. Lessons typically take place in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Tutors must be committed to fulfilling their obligation to any students that they elect to take on. When setting up a tutor with a student,
we require a commitment at least through June of that school year.
The founders of The Cartim Group continue to work directly with students because we love teaching and working with students.
We have created an environment that we enjoy teaching in ourselves, and we are also dedicated to continually improving the
job experience provided to all of our tutors.
